THE DOT INSPECTOR

The concept is not new, nor is it complicated. It is, however, more economically priced than comparable units on the market. Simply stated, the Dot Inspector is an illuminated magnifier with different colored LEDs that make individual process colors easier to view. It can be utilized to view film (as a simple, illuminated magnifier), color proofs, printing plates and the final printed sheet. Since changing the viewing light color individually emphasizes each process color, it is possible to check for:

The Dot Inspector is available in 20X, 30X or 50X magnifications. It is possible to change the magnification by purchasing additional eyepieces. Each Dot Inspector comes complete with a belt carrying-case, two-AAA alkaline batteries (forget the hassles of having to recharge batteries or replace expensive rechargeable batteries), handy strap, operation manual and the magnifier of your choice.
